چکیده | ||

چکیده [English] | ||
This study aims to investigate the role of design thinking as a driver of social innovation. The research focuses on how principles such as co-creation, systems thinking, human-centered design, and iterative approaches are applied to address complex social problems. To achieve this objective, a systematic literature review was conducted using the Scopus and Web of Science databases, covering publications from 2014 to 2024.The findings indicate that design thinking enhances social innovation processes by fostering stakeholder engagement, empathy, and iterative development. This approach has been utilized in domains such as social entrepreneurship, public policy, education, and digital innovation, and has occasionally led to systemic change. However, challenges remain, including limited scalability, cultural misalignment, and the oversimplification of social issues. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of contextualizing design thinking tools, empirically evaluating their impacts, and integrating them into social policy frameworks and local institutions. The future of this approach hinges on robust systems modeling and measuring its effectiveness within real-world contexts.
