هدف ازاين پژوهش،‏ توصيف ويژگي هاي فردي ،‏ تحصيلي،‏ ورزشي وشغلي دانشجويان مقطع كارشناسي ارشد رشته ي تربيت بدني بوده است.به همين منظور كليه ي دانشجويان شش دانشگاه كشور درنيمسال 75-76 به عنوان جامعه ي نمونه برگزيده وپرسشنامه اي شامل هجده سوال بين آنان توزيع ،‏تكميل وجمع اوري شد.98 درصد دانشجويان ‹122 نفر› به پرسشنامه پاسخ دادند. با استفاده از نرم افزارEPI6 اطلاعات در رايانه ثبت ومورد تجزيه وتحليل قرار گرفت .اين تحقيق نشان داد كه 25 درصد كل دانشجويان دختر و55 درصدشان متأهل بودند،‏ سن 60 درصدآنان بين 26 تا31 بوده است.2‎/26 درصد دانشجويان اهل تهران بودند. رشته ي تحصيلي مقطع ديپلم 86 درصد دختران و59درصد پسران ،‏تجربي بوده. معدل كارشناسي 89 درصد دانشجويان بين14 تا 17 بود؛35 درصد پذيرفته شدگان در بار نخست شركت در آزمون پذيرفته شدند. 4‎/2 درصد آنها جز كادر آموزشي دانشگاه ها بودند.

The aim of this research was to evaluate the characteristres of students who are
studying physical Education for a Master Degree in different universities of the country, regarding their gendre. All the students who were continuing their study for
the second semeister of the Educational year 97-98 were selected as the statistical samples and a non-standard 18 item questionnaire, including open and closed questions desigend fa thire research, was distributed between the samples and after completion by students collected for study. 98% of the total of 122 student answered
the questions. EP 16 data analyzing software was used for stutisticul analysis.
25% of the students were female. Almost 55% of the students were married and
60% of them were between the ages 26 & 31 years. 86% of the girls and 59% of the boys studied experimental science during their secondary school education. 6.5% of
the total did not hold a B A in physical education in RA. The average of their undergraduate grade level was between 14 to 17 in the scale of 20. 16.3% also did not have any plans for their future work.
Revrewing the results shows that for selection of students for Master Degree and even Ph.D, it would be neccesary to consider the students' records in experimental
and physical education. Key
