چيستي لوح محفوظ و تبيين آن در اين نوشتار مورد تحقيق قرار مي گيرد. نگارنده ابتدا مسأله محل بحث را در لغت،‏ قرآن و روايات مورد توجه قرار داده و آنگاه ديدگاههاي مفسران و انديشمندان ديني را دربارة آن مطرح نموده و به بررسي آنها پرداخته و يكي از آنها را برگزيده است. از كنار هم نشاندن ديدگاهها دربارة چيستي لوح محفوظ،‏ فاصله بسيار متباعد اين ديدگاهها در خصوص اين حقيقت قرآني نمايان مي شود و از سويي دقت و جامعيت ديدگاه مورد قبول نيز به دست مي آيد.

Then embarks upon discussing the views of other religious exegetists and scholars and favours with one of them.
