Abstract | ||
In this study, the effects of a decrease in body weight by 4% on selected factors of physical and motor fitness by ways of dehydration and dietin two groups of wrestlers weighing 65-85 kg were compared. Selected factors measured in the test (pre, post) of decrease in body weight were . Muscular endurance of shoulder girdle, reaction time of lower limb and absolute strength. The Analysis of statistical data (a = 0.05) showed a significant decrease in absolute strength of dehydration group. The changes of other factors in the two groups (dehydration and diet) were not significant. comparison results in two groups showed .• there is not a significant difference between the effects of two methods (dehydration and diet) on the muscular endurance of shoulder girdle, reaction time of lower limb and absolute strength in wrestlers. | ||
