| Abstract | ||
| Fron_ archaeolgical point of view, the funeral date is conclusive in regards to nonmaterialistic aspects of prehistoric cultures. In due respect, in this article, funeral rites during iron age in the western portion of the Iranian plateau is analyzed. It seems that during this cultural period the fundation of the new Iranian religious belif is emerging. The reflection of this can be seen in the funeral rites of this period. Moreover, common archaeological remains and cel1ain cultural pattern an_ong people whose matherial l_fe is based on settled and nomadic life can be assel1ed. Ful1h erm ore, research prospects and problems in this period is pointed out respectively. | ||
