| چکیده | ||
| هدف این پژوهش، تبیین و نقد نظریات ریچارد رورتی و هنری ژیرو در باب پرورش روشنفکر است. بررسی مقایسه ای این دو اندیشه، حاکی از آن است که این دو مدل از پرورش روشنفکر دارای اشتراکاتی هستند از جمله محلیت، پرداختن به نقد با هدف واسازی، امکانی بودن و دیدگاه آرمانشهری. بررسی دقیقتر در این زمینه نشان میدهد اندیشة طعنورز آزاد به دلیل دوگانه انگاری در باب حوزة عمومی- خصوصی، عینیت- وفاق اجتماعی از طرفی دچار یک تناقض درونی است و آن دوقطبی بودن فرهنگپذیری- پالایش است علاوه بر این ، نظریه رورتی با محدود ساختن طعنورزی و نقد به حوزة خصوصی، به نخبهگرایی گرایش دارد ولی ژیرو بر خلاف رورتی با طرح تعهد به تغییر اجتماعی و پرداختن به عرصة عمومی، فعالیت روشنفکرانه را به بطن جامعه میکشد. دیدگاه ژیرو نیز دارای نواقصی است از جمله بدبینی به آموزش فرهنگ سنتی و نادیده گرفتن نقش آن در پرورش روشنفکر و همچنین کم توجهی به پرورش عاطفه و معنویت و تحویل تربیت به تربیت سیاسی و... از این نواقص هستند اما به نظر میرسد میتوان از طریق ترکیب و اصلاح دیدگاه روشنفکر عمومی ژیرو و متعهد کردن آن به تربیت معنوی و عاطفی، نظریهای کاملتر در مورد پرورش روشنفکر در آموزش عالی ارائه داد. | ||

| The main Purpose of this research is the comparative study of "Public Intellectuals"(Henry Giroux) and "Liberal Ironist" (Richard Rorty) models of educating intellectual in higher education. The comparative study of these two model indicates that there are similarities: locality, critique in order to deconstruction, contingency and utopian viewpoint. The further studies indicate that Liberal Ironist theory because of false dualism between public-private spheres and also objectivity-solidarity, faces many internal incoherence includes acculturation- edification bipolar. Moreover this theory confines irony and critique to the private sphere and so tend to a kind of elitism. But Giroux unlike Rorty, via discussing the commitment to social transformation brings the intellectual to public and social life. The view point of Giroux also has many shortcomes: pessimist view on the instruction of traditional culture, ignoring the role of the emotional and spiritual education, and reduction of the education of intellectual to political education. It seems that we can propose a proper model for education of intellectual in higher education by revision of the "Public Intellectuals" theory and obligate it to the emotional and spiritual education. | ||
