| در چند دههی اخیر تحقیقات متعددی راجع به نام دریاهای جنوب ایران به زبان فارسی نگاشته شده که مراد بسیاری از آنها اثبات صحت و اصالت نام فارس برای پهنهی آبی واقع در غرب تنگهی هرمز بوده است. مقالهی «دریای مکران در اسناد و منابع تاریخی» نوشتهی محسن ابوالقاسمی، سامان مصفا، احمدرضا قائم مقامی و فرح زاهدی نیز از جمله پژوهشهایی است که به منظور بررسی نام تاریخی و اصیل دیگر دریای جنوب ایران، دریای عمان (مکران)، نگارش یافته است. در مقالهی یادشده ادعای اصالت و تاریخی بودن نام مکران برای دیگر دریای جنوب ایران و رواج نام عمان برای این پهنهی آبی بعد از سدۀ هجدهم میلادی با دخالت دولت بریتانیا مطرح شده است. هدف مقالهی حاضر به آزمون گذاشتن ادعای نویسندگان مقاله با محک متون تاریخی و جغرافیایی سدههای میانه و بررسی ساختاری، روشی و ادبی مقالهی مذکور است. یافتههای پژوهش حاضر نشان میدهد ادعای اصلی مقالهی «دریای مکران در اسناد و منابع تاریخی» بالکل باطل و به نوعی تحریف آشکار تاریخ است. همچنین، مقاله دارای ایرادهای ساختاری، روشی و ادبی بسیار و اساسی نیز است. با این همه، جدیترین ایراد آن، انتحال بسیاری از عبارات و بندهای آن، از جمله مدعای اصلی آن، از دیگر تحقیقات است. | ||

| In several decades of numerous researches about the name of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, a lot of meaning has been found from them, which was the historical and original name of this water area. The article “Makran Sea in Historical Documents and Sources” is also written to research the historical and original name of Oman Sea. According to the authors of this article, the name of Oman does not exceed the 18th century and its historical and original name is Makran. The purpose of this article is to test the claim of the authors of the article against the historical and geographical texts of the middle centuries and the extent of success of the authors in investigating the name of this sea.The findings of the present research show that the mentioned article has content flaws, a basic literary method. In addition, the main claim of the article, the denial of the name of the Oman Sea, while it is in conflict with the explicit historical statements, like many phrases and clauses of the article that are copied from other research texts, is taken from the article of Imam Shushatri, without referring to him. To this credit, the article on Darya Makran in historical documents and sources, despite the great name of its authors, does not have the necessary merit to be published in a scientific-research journal, and it is better to be deleted from the page of the Journal of Historical Researches of Iran and Islam. | ||
