Abstract | ||
Evaluating staff in universities by students is a very common performance at the end of all academic terms. The validity of this evaluation may be treated by the gender as an intervening variable. The main purpose of this research was investigate the degree of being interference results if the gender of staff, as evaluated, and students, as evaluator, are homogenous or not. The research conducted at the Ferdowsi University at city of Mashhad. 371 students and 11 faculties were chosen by a random sampling. The most direct findings, collected by questionnaire, indicated that the gender had not an unintended effect on the results. Some further findings showed differences among four types of gender combinations(F-F; F-M; M-F; and M-M) and different disciplines, all may be found at the full text. | ||
