Abstract | ||
Bristol, a beautiful city located in southwest England, has a big and famous University. In its Social Sciences and Art Library, there is a section called, "Special Collection" which contains many books and of course manuscripts specially Budist from Tebet, Sylon and India. Amongst them, there are few oriental manuscripts and documents in Arabic and Persian. The present paper is the catalog of the Arabic and Persian manuscripts and documents that are preserved there. Some of them are very considerable such as a decree (Farman) from Muzafar al-Din Shah Qajar, an illustrated manuscript of Sharaf Nameh by Nezami of Ganjeh dated 11 th AH century and parts of poems (Ghazaliat) of Hazegh of Gi/an which has no copy in iran. | ||
