| Abstract | ||
| This article studies the definitons of "Meccan" and "Medinite" verses, presents the traditional and deductive methods of distingushing them and gives a short report of the orientalists' research in this case. The importance and benefits of this recognition, and the literal, semantic, and rhetorical characteristices of each of Meccan and Medinite verses are discussed afterwards. The old and modern viewpoints are critically studied or alternatively an attempt for their completion is made in this article | ||
