| در این مقاله به یکی از مسئل جاری حوزه نظری جامعه شناسی معاصر یعنی دخالت دادن فرهنگ در روش منطقی شناخت جامعه معاصر می پردازیم. گیدنز (1377) و باومن (1992) در ابتدای دهه 1990 و همین طور اینگلهارت(1377) در اواخر این دهه به نوعی به نوعی منحصر به فرد بودن جامعه معاصر اشاره کرده اند که از این میان اینگلهارت به طور مشخص به نقش فرهنگ در شکل گیری جدید اجتماعی پرداخته است. در این مقاله با اشاره به نقائص نظری و روش شناختی آثار اینگلهارت‘ باومن و گیدنز مشخص می کنیم که چگونه باید بحث فرهنگ و نقش آن را از لحاظ نظری در شناخت تحولات اجتماعی جدید دخالت داد. بدین منظور وارد روند مفهوم سازی روابط فرهنگی شده ایم تا از طریق پی ریزی مفاهیم جدید چارچوب نظری جدیدی را برای بحث پیرامون ویژگیهای جوامع دوران معاصر معرفی کنیم. | ||

| This research tries to tackle on one of the current issues concerning the theoretical realm of contemporary sociology, i.e., taking into consideration "culture" in the logical methods of understanding contemporary societies. Not only does Giddens (1990) but also Bauman (1992) and Inglehart (1997), in a sense, recognize the uniqueness of contemporary societies of which Inglehart specifically refers to the role of "culture" in new social formations. Presenting a critque on the theoretical as well as methodological shortcomings of Inglehart's, Giddens's and Bauman's works, this paper, however, takes one step further and specifies how the discourse of "culture" and its role in new social formations should be theoretically incorporated into the methods of understanding current social changes. For this purpose, the researcher enters into the process of conceptualizing the cultural relations through which some new concepts that help to design a new theoretical framework for understanding the characteristics of contemporary societies are introduced | ||
