| Abstract | ||
| Abu Muslem Muhammad b.Bahr-e-Isfahani is one of the fourth century Mu'tazilite commentators whose best work which is the commentary of Jami ‘a al-Ta'awille -Muhkam al- Tanzil compiled on the basis of mu'tazilah school having rational tendencies, is missing. The present article giving a brief biography of this unknown commentator, proceeds to clarify his theological ideas, his style of terminology, his opinion of the abrogative and abrogated verses of the holy Quran, of the integration of verses, in addition to some of his poems as is quoted by the other commentators. | ||
