The phenomenon of management, with its impressive advancement in less than 150 years has. revolutionized the social and economic infrastructure of advanced countries. Management could not have such an active life without relying on cultural knowledge. This knowledge must be studied and taught widely. Experiences of other countries in this area must be utilized. Comparing these experiences and choosing the best model can provide an appropriate context for development and growth of the country. In "Comparative Analysis of Management Styles in Japan and U.S.A.", Mr . Magid Rashid Kaboli compares management styles of Japan and U.S.A_ in the areas of productivity, employment techniques, decision making process, planning process, and organizing process. His article concludes: "Niether Japanese management system nor management system of Western countries can be an appropriate model for our management. What we learn from management approaches of other countries should be adapted to our economic, cultural, and national attributes." | ||
