My article deals with “The Self—fulfilling Prophecy”. Perception is the process of receiving and interpreting environmental stimuli. Our behavior is a manifestation of things as we see them. The self-fulfilling prophecy explains how one’s expectations of other peoples behavior are communicated with them so that the other parties behave according to the expectation of the communicator. In the above article I presented four factors for explanation of the self-fulfilling prophecy. These are: data, expected performance, energy, and feedback. documentation theory provides another application of perception process to organizational behavior. It explains how individual strives at understanding observed behavior on the basis of internal and external factors. other applications of perception theory in the organizations include employment interview, presenting factual information prior to the employment, performance evaluation, employee effort a mid loyalty.
