| A simple theory has been developed for estimating spin transfer parame¬ters in the linear bond of M2+- F- - Cd2+ in crystals of CSCdF3:M2+(M=Mn or Ni). Data required are the experimental values of transferred and super transferred hyperfine interactions. Using this theory in the mo1ecu1ar orbita1s of M2+ (3d ) - F- (2p ) – Cd 2+¬ (4p )suggests that for the Mn2+- F- bond f , the spin transfer parameter of -type is ? 3.1% which is much larger than estimates from neutron scattering data, though in reasonable agreement whit recent works of Ziaei and Rinneberg & shirley | ||
