Abstract | ||
Safavid era specially Shah Abbas era is a golden age of urbanization and city development in Iran. In urbanization of That era which is best identified in Isfahan, there is a special attention to three relations, human with god, human with human, and human with nature. The most important features of cities and urbanization of each government is best identified in their Capital cities, In the Safavid era, three cities, Tabriz, Qazvin and Isfahan were Selected as capital city in that order, and "Ashraf city", currently named Behshahr, is their summery capital city. so, by investigating those cities, we can identify features urbanization of Safavid era. | ||
