| Gholamreza zahtabian has presented an article on "Management of Water and Irrigation and Their Effects on Agricultural Developments and Rural Rehabilitation". He challenges a widely held fallacy that Iran's main problems with water insufficiency are the inadequate rainfall and the arid land. He believes that the lack of adequate management in irrigation projects is the main cause of water insufficiency throughout the country. The author claims that the 75% of the available water in Iran is wasted. He offers several approaches to improvement in water preservation. | ||
