چکیده
 The purpose of this study was the examination of the spinal deformities in children with sensory impairment.16 blind children (9 girls, 7 boys) and 30 deaf children (14 girls, 16 boys) participated as the sample groups in Ardabil city. 60 healthy children (30 girls and 30 boys) also participated as the control group. Spinal mouse was used for the assessment of lordosis, scoliosis and kyphosis. One-Way ANOVA and LSD post hoc test was used to compare groups by using SPSS (16 version) software. Data analyze showed that there were no significant difference among groups in kyphosis rate (p=0/345), lordosis (p=0/204) and lumbar scoliosis (p=0/185). The thoracic scoliosis (p=0/002) showed significant difference among the groups. According to the findings of the present study, sensory impairment (especially Blindness) has relationship with postural problems. Therefore, early screening and then exercise training programs appears to be essential to improve their physical condition.

هدف پژوهش حاضر مقایسة وضعیت ستون فقرات کودکان با اختلال­های حسی و همتایان سالم بود. در این مطالعة موردی مشاهده­ای 16 کودک نابینا و 30 کودک ناشنوای 12 – 6 ساله به­صورت هدفمند و از جامعة در دسترس انتخاب شدند و 60 کودک سالم به­عنوان گروه کنترل در پژوهش شرکت کردند. ارزیابی قوس­های ستون فقرات توسط اسپینال موس با روایی 94/0=r صورت گرفت. برای مقایسة نتایج بین گروه­ها نیز از آزمون تحلیل واریانس یکطرفه و آزمون تعقیبی LSD استفاده شد. تحلیل داده­ها نشان داد که اسکولیوز پشتی نابینایان و ناشنوایان مشابه یکدیگر ولی به­طور معناداری بیشتر از گروه سالم بود (002/0=P). اما تفاوت معناداری بین کایفوز (345/0 = P)، لوردوز (204/0 = P) و اسکولیوز کمری (185/0 = P) گروه­ها با یکدیگر مشاهده نشد. در مجموع با توجه به یافته­های پژوهش حاضر احتمالاً اختلال­های بینایی و شنوایی با برخی ناهنجاری­های پاسچرال ارتباط دارد، به­ویژه آنکه نابینایی بیشتر از ناشنوایی با این اختلال­ها ارتباط نشان می­دهد. از این­رو، غربالگری زودهنگام و به­موقع برای شناسایی و پیشگیری از ناهنجاری­های بدنی به­ویژه ستون فقرات آنان، ضروری به­نظر می­رسد.
