چکیده | ||
پژوهش حاضر به شناسایی نیازهای زبان تخصصی دانشجویان رشتۀ طراحی فرش در دانشگاه هنر اسلامی تبریز می پردازد. جامعه پژوهش شامل سه گروه اساتید تخصصی (دو نفر)، فارغ التحصیلان (چهار نفر) و دانشجویان کارشناسی (47 نفر) می باشد. اطلاعات از طریق مصاحبه های نیمه ساختار یافته و پرسشنامه گردآوری گردید. نتایج حاصل از پژوهش نشان می دهد که زبان انگلیسی در تحصیل و شغل آیندۀ دانشجویان دارای اهمیت زیادی بوده و دانشجویان برای برقراری ارتباط با بازارهای جهانی فرش و همچنین متخصصین این رشته، نیاز به تقویت مهارت گفتاری خود دارند. در حالیکه هر چهار مهارت یادگیری زبان انگلیسی در موفقیت تحصیلی آنها مهم ارزیابی گردیده، مهارت های خواندن و گفتاری به عنوان مهمترین مهارت ها و دو مهارت گفتاری و نوشتاری به عنوان ضعیف ترین مهارت ها معرفی گردیدند. اکثر دانشجویان معتقد بودند که ساعت و تعداد واحد اختصاص یافته به این ماده درسی کافی نمی باشد. نتایج حاصل از این پژوهش می تواند در تهیه محتوای درسی زبان تخصصی این گروه از دانشجویان سهم شایانی داشته باشد. | ||

The present study aimed to identify ESP needs of the carpet students in Tabriz Islamic Art University. The participants of the study included 2 subject specific teachers, 4 graduates and 47 students of the faculty of carpet of the university. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews and a questionnaire. The results of the research show that English is important in the education and future career of students, and students need to strengthen their speaking skills in order to communicate with the global carpet markets as well as specialists in the field. While all the four skills of learning English were important in their academic achievement, reading and speaking were introduced as the most important skills and two skills of speaking and writing were considered as the weakest skills. Most of the students believed that the hours and number of units assigned to this subject were not sufficient. The results of this research can contribute to the preparation of ESP course content of this group of students. | ||
