چکیده [English] | ||
Background: Reverse migration can be a factor for sustainable growth and development in villages. But for this to happen, plans and macro management are needed for rural development. The purpose of this research is to investigate the phenomenon of reverse migration, its causes and consequences. Method: The research method is ground theory. The data is the result of a semi-structured interview with 15 informed people, including the village council, village trustees and benefactors, school principals in Mehrabad village, Ardestan city. The method of selection is targeted and accessible and determining their number is to reach the saturation stage. Research findings: Research findings show that reasons such as retirement and economic conditions on the one hand and urban repulsions and rural attractions on the other hand have caused reverse migration of the elderly in the researched village. . Conclusion: Those who have done reverse migration in Mehrabad village are mostly elderly and retired people who returned to the village because of more peace. The consequence of this is the disproportionality of the village population (most of the village residents are old) and the village has become a holiday resort.
